This is one of the hardest, most painful things
I have ever done in my life, to tell you about
my precious daughter...Deborah.
I never, ever thought that any of my children
would leave this life before I did. I thought
that was something so awful and unimaginable
that happened to other families.
I was wrong.
On September 12, 2004
my heart was broken forever,
my life was torn apart and
my world completely shattered.

Heaven's Rose
Your memory is like a rose,
A precious velvet bloom.
now in heaven's sweet bouquet;
you left us far too soon.
Like the precious rose's scent,
your memory lingers on.
The imprint left upon our hearts
Remains although you're gone.
God holds you now as Heaven's tears
Kiss you like the dew.
In Heaven now, our precious rose,
Forever there to bloom.

The Mention of Her Name
The mention of my child's name
May bring tears to my eyes,
But it never fails to bring
Music to my ears.
If you are really my friend,
Let me hear the beautiful music of her name.
It soothes my broken heart
And sings to my soul.
